GOP Receives Warning From Eric Holder Not to Mess With Mueller… Benghazi Hero Puts Him In His Place

Kirsters Baish| There was some pretty intense criticism received by former Attorney General Eric Holder this week. On Thursday, a tweet came from Holder which warned congressional Republicans to not remove Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Mueller has been overseeing the investigation into alleged Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election, and so far they have found diddly squat.

Holder’s tweet read, “Speaking on behalf of the vast majority of the American people, Republicans in Congress be forewarned:any attempt to remove Bob Mueller will not be tolerated. These are BS attacks on him/his staff that are blatantly political-designed to hide the real wrongdoing. Country not party.”

One of Holder’s critics seemed to stand out above all other critics, however. Kris “Tanto” Paronto, who is a former Army Ranger as well as a survivor of the 2012 Benghazi attack in Libya, tweeted in response, “Weren’t you the only Attorney General in U.S. history to be held in contempt of congress??”

“And you don’t speak for me or the vast majority of the American people you POS!!” he continued on. “Get back in your hole rat.”

Paronto is an American hero who helped fight off terrorists who were attacking the United States consulate in Benghazi on that fateful day back in September of 2012.

This time, however, Paronto was speaking specifically about Holder’s role in an entirely different scandal which took place during the Obama administration. He was talking about Operation Fast and Furious. Back in 2010, a Border Patrol Agent by the name of Brian Terry was murdered by suspected illegal immigrants during a routine patrol of the border in the Arizona desert. It was found that guns used by cartel-linked members were found to have been bought illegally from the United States government.

Multiple congressional committees have conducted investigations which have resulted in the discovery of some sickening details involving the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ illegal gun sales to some unsavory characters. In fact, the guns were sold to members of drug cartels with the hopes of tracking the sellers and purchasers of firearms, CNN reported.

Holder was ultimately cited for criminal contempt back in 2012 after the congressional inquiries were made.

There has been some pretty intense criticism of Robert Mueller’s probe, which has increased after revelations that two FBI officials who had worked on Mueller’s team had gone back and forth text messaging anti-Trump sentiments during the time of the 2016 presidential election.

NBC News reported that during a committee hearing, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte explained on Wednesday, “We are now beginning to better understand the magnitude of this insider bias on Mr. Mueller’s team.”

Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio chairs the House Freedom Caucus explained, “I think the public trust in this whole thing is gone.”

Florida Representative Matt Gaetz called for Robert Mueller to be fired on Friday.

Gaetz stated to CNN, “Congress has an obligation to expose what I believe is a corrupt investigation, and I call on my Republican colleagues to join me in firing Bob Mueller. It’s time for Mueller to put up or shut up. If there’s evidence of collusion with Russia, let’s see it.”

Eric Holder had better keep his nose out of this one before it gets cut off.
